WHY BECOME A MENTOR?
It will be one of the most rewarding things you do in your life.
As a Youth Peer Mentor, you'll not only set a positive example,
develop your skills as a communicator, and make a real difference
in the lives of thousands of young people, but you will be part
of the solution. You could help others avoid dating violence,
you could stop someone from trying to meet a stranger on the Internet,
you could educate young people so they know what abuse is and
how to prevent it and hopefully you will offer your support and
encourage abused youth to report their abuse.
HOW DO I BECOME A MENTOR?
If you would like to be a Youth Peer Mentor contact us at the
Youth For Youth Partnership or e-mail us for an application and
(if under age 18) parental consent form. If you would like to
bring this program to your school, talk to your parents, principal
